Xavier Ting

Vice President at OCBC · AI & Design Leader. I build with AI every day and share what I learn — making AI accessible for everyone.

The short version

I'm a Vice President at OCBC in Singapore, working on AI transformation in banking — a place where every clever idea meets a regulator before it meets a customer. The question I ask of every AI feature is the one I'd ask of any design: can the person in front of it actually use it?

How I work

I build with these tools daily, not occasionally. I introduced vibe coding to my design team early last year and it changed how we work: we stopped presenting mockups and started handing people something they could click — and every one of those still went past someone who knew what they were looking at. The barrier to building dropped. The need for judgment didn't.

Why this site

The fastest way to make AI accessible is to show your working. The tools tab is the stack I actually run — every entry in daily use, nobody paid to be listed. AI 101 is the on-ramp: the fifty-nine words that do most of the gatekeeping, decoded in plain English. Start wherever fits.

On this site

Two tabs, one goal: AI that stays usable by people who don't ship code for a living.
