Claude Mem
Lets your assistant remember earlier sessions.
Why use Claude Mem?
Every new session starts from nothing. You re-explain the project, the decisions you already settled, and the approaches that did not work. Claude Mem captures what the assistant does as you go, compresses it, then puts the parts that matter back into later sessions. You get an assistant that picks up roughly where you left off instead of asking again.
When should you use Claude Mem?
Projects you return to across days or weeks, and any work where re-explaining the background eats the time you meant to spend building.
How do you install and use Claude Mem?
- Run the command below. It sets itself up for whichever assistant you use.
- Work as normal. It records and condenses each session in the background.
- Next time you start, the relevant history is already in front of the assistant.
