Claude Code Setup

Claude Code can be extended in several directions: skills it loads for particular jobs, outside tools it connects to, actions that fire automatically as you work, and shortcut commands you can type. Working out which of those your particular project would actually benefit from is the hard part. This reads your project and names the top one or two in each category, with its reasoning. It only reads and changes nothing, so running it costs you the time and nothing else.

Setting up a project you have just started working in, or returning to one where you never got round to configuring anything past the defaults.

1. Install it with the command below.
2. Then open Claude Code and ask in plain words, along the lines of recommending automations for this project.
3. Read what it suggests and add whichever you want. It will not change anything itself.
